FLISP stands for Finance Linked Individual Subsidy Programme. The FLISP Housing Subsidy Programme was developed by the Department of Human Settlement to enable first time home ownership opportunities to South African citizens who earn between R3501-R22000 per month.
The subsidy may be used to:
Vacant Land
To buy a vacant serviced residential stand, linked to an NHBRC registered home builder contract.
Residential Property
To buy new or old residential property.
Home Builder
To build property on a self owned serviced residential stand, through an NHBRC registered home builder.
